Spreader Rollers
More InfoRollmax

Spreading elements feature an internal bearing and an application-dependent (rubber or silicone) contact surface to ensure even spreading regardless of material type or tension magnitude.
Rollmax rollers use a modular
system which allows easy and
inexpensive customization to
suit any application.
“Rollmax” spreader rollers are ideal for keeping web material taught for processing or rewinding. They are commonly used to solve wrinkling problems. The rollers feature a patented design which incorporates individually inclined, disc-shaped elements for spreading web material without introducing excessive tension on it.
Internal bearings allow each of these
elements to rotate independently to allow even distribution of
tension across the surface of the web.
Traditional spreader rollers
can force too much tension on one area of the material, causing
the material to tear or stretch. Having internal bearings inside
each spreading element also makes the roller effective in
spreading any material, regardless of the tension magnitude.
